OUR HISTORY

Modern Electric was established in 1972 by Mr. Abdul Rafiq and Mr. Abdul Hafiz, uncles of late Managing Director, Mr. Abdul Fahim. From a small sized firm it has become a medium sized limited liability family company rendering its services throughout Fiji. Modern Electric is a member of NECAF. With over 48 years of experience and being one of the renowned EFL registered and licensed electrical contractors, we are constantly striving to serve Fiji with complete professional service at the best competitive rates.

All our works are conducted in accordance with the OHS Standards, Fiji Electricity Act 2017, SAA Wiring Rules (3000:2018) and EFL Regulations. Our Emergency Response Team is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Modern Electric prides itself to be the nation’s leading temporary power specialist. We also supply, install and hire out generators and lighting towers.
